Frequently asked questions

Everything people usually want to know about Aggi — what it is, what it costs, and how it works.

The basics

What exactly is Aggi?

Aggi is a free service, part AI chat and part human support, that helps adults 55+ finally get important life tasks done. From organizing finances to finding doctors to making your home safer as you age, there’s always a real person (your Aggi Concierge) on call to help you make progress.

Who is Aggi for?

Aggi is designed for anyone 55 or older who’s been meaning to take care of something important but hasn’t gotten around to it.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no cost to use Aggi or our Aggi Concierge service.

Why are you offering this for free?

Aggi by OakPath is backed by a multi-national corporation and employer that’s responsible for the wellbeing of a lot of people – and a lot of people who are getting older. It’s in the best interest of their business when people stay healthier and happier in their own homes as they age.

The things that often get in the way of people aging in place are the important tasks we put off because they seem overwhelming – taking care of our money, health, home, and social connections. Our goal is to help people make progress before small problems become bigger ones.

Your Aggi Concierge

What is an Aggi Concierge?

An Aggi Concierge is a real human who helps our users get their should-dos done. They provide helpful resources and check in to make sure our users stay on track. You can book an appointment with an Aggi Concierge after signing up.

Will my Aggi Concierge do things for me?

Your Aggi Concierge can provide you with relevant resources you might not know are out there, help you figure out next steps, and ensure that you’ve got a concrete plan for getting your should-dos done. You stay in control of every decision and action you take.

Privacy and trust

Do I have to share my financial information?

No. You may be asked if you want to share basic financial information if it’s relevant to the task you’re working on. Only share it if you’re comfortable doing so. We will never ask you to send or upload financial documents of any kind.

Is my information private?

Yes. Your information is kept confidential and is only used to help you accomplish the goals you’ve asked us to help with.

Are you trying to sell me something?

No. We’re here to help you accomplish your goals, not to sell products or pressure you into services. We will never attempt to sell you anything.

Will you recommend specific companies?

When appropriate, we’ll point you toward a list of reputable resources or providers in your area. Those resources are yours to further explore for yourself. We do not financially benefit or make commissions from any of those resources or providers.

I’ve been getting calls from a lot of services promising help. What makes this different?

Most people don’t need more information. They need someone to help them turn good intentions into completed actions. Your Aggi Concierge stays with you until progress actually happens. And then they help you move on to the next task.

Getting started

What if I don’t know where to start?

That’s completely normal. Aggi, your AI personal coach, is designed to chat with you to help you figure out what’s most important to you, and take it one step at a time from there.

What if I’ve been putting this off for years?

You’re not alone. Many people delay these kinds of tasks. The important thing is getting started now.

What if I’m overwhelmed and don’t even know what I need?

You don’t need a list before you start chatting with Aggi. We’ll help you sort through what’s on your mind so that you can decide what deserves attention first.

What if I feel embarrassed that I haven’t done these things yet?

There is absolutely no reason to feel embarrassed. If you do, you’re in good company. Almost everybody has important tasks they’ve been meaning to get to. When you work with Aggi there’s no judgment. Just a place to start.

I’m pretty independent. Is this for people who need a lot of help?

Aggi is an experience purpose-built for people who simply want a trusted partner to help them make progress. Think of us as someone in your corner. Not someone taking over.

How it works over time

How much time does this take?

Some questions can be resolved in one conversation. Bigger tasks may take several check-ins over time. You’re in control of the pace.

Can I work at my own pace?

Absolutely. We move as quickly or as slowly as you’re comfortable with.

What if I lose momentum?

That’s exactly why we’re here. It’s the job of your Aggi Concierge to check in, help you overcome roadblocks, and make the next step feel manageable.

What if life gets in the way?

No problem. We’ll pick up where you left off whenever you’re ready.

Will you tell me what I should do?

We’ll help you understand your options and think through next steps, but the decisions are always yours.
